President and CEO
A Preeminent Member of the Ontario Building Industry
Desi C. Auciello has a keen interest in developing and building new home communities in the Greater Toronto Area and the surrounding areas. Having spent 25 years in the industry, he has worked in virtually every facet of the business including legal, finance, acquisitions, planning, design, development and marketing.
A member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, he is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto as well as a graduate of Economics from York University, Toronto. Prior to his position at Cachet Developments, Desi was a partner in a boutique firm specializing in commercial real estate and development law.
He is a past-President of BILD, the Building Industry and Land Development Association of Toronto, including a past member of its executive and government relations committees; and, its representative on the Urban Council of the Canadian Home Builders Association. He also sat on the Ontario Homebuilders’ Association / Tarion Warranty Liaison Committee. As well, he is actively involved in many industry related and charitable organizations.
He has also been a member of the Ontario Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) since 2005.

Land Acquisition and Development Expert
Ramsey Shaheen has been with Cachet Development since 2008 and plays an important role in overseeing the firm’s land development activities. His focus also includes sourcing new acquisition opportunities and completing financial and market feasibility studies to support the acquisition process.
Ramsey was interested in real estate development from the very outset of his professional career. Before joining Cachet, Ramsey was a Development Manager with Pulte Homes Orlando, Florida as part of their land development team.
During his time with Pulte, he was exposed to the rapid growth of the Central Florida market. He also strengthened his knowledge of residential real estate operations with a specific focus on land acquisition due diligence, urban planning, detailed engineering design, and infrastructure construction. Ramsey has attained invaluable experience while managing residential developments – consisting of single and multi-family housing products, as well as resort and active adult communities for over 2,000 residential units.
Ramsey holds an Engineering Degree from the University of Toronto. He has obtained course certification in Project Management, is a licensed Realtor and member of the Toronto Real Estate Board, and has served as an elected Board of Director on Homeowner and Condominium Associations.
|Sam Ziaie, CPA, CA, MBA
Director of Finance
Sam oversees all aspects of Cachet’s financial management including analysis of new acquisition opportunities (financial and market feasibility), internal and external reporting, capital management (forecasting), tax planning and administration of the company’s accounting and finance functions.
Sam has extensive experience in financial reporting, analysis and taxation. Prior to joining Cachet in 2014 Sam provided assurance, advisory and taxation services to wide range of private and publicly traded real estate companies in various sectors including residential, retail, industrial, office, mixed-use and development projects. Sam is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA). He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business with a specialization in Real Estate and Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) Degree from McMaster University.

Mina Auciello brings her innovative ideas and depth of experience to the Cachet team.
Mina’s career with Cachet has grown considerably in the last 15 years. She has actively worked with several departments including marketing, research, planning, design, product development and strategy. Mina has been crucial to the successful development and construction of over 2,000 new homes in a dozen communities in and around the Greater Toronto Area.
Her passion for residential housing and development extends beyond the operations of the Cachet Development Group. She is an active member of BILD, the Building Industry and Land Development Association of Toronto, including past chair of its sales and marketing committees.
She is a graduate of the University of Toronto.
A Master Builder in Greater Toronto
Anthony Auciello established many successful businesses before he built a career in residential real estate. With a true passion for this industry he hasn’t been able to stay away from housing development since 1981.When he started in custom homes, Anthony Auciello’s fresh outlook and attention to detail and quality held his clients’ fascination. He has been personally involved in overseeing the development of hundreds of custom homes ranging in size from 3,500 to over 10,000 square feet. This was his first milestone and helped establish himself as a pre-eminent master builder in the Greater Toronto Area.Following his success in custom home building, Anthony has expanded into all aspects of low-rise residential construction and land development. As Chairman of the Cachet Group of Companies, Anthony remains involved in investment strategy and capital deployment.
